I created this interactive center to practice blends. There are 11 cookie sheets with the following blends: cr, tr, gr, dr, br, cl, pl, fl, sn, sp and sc. There are 40 different cookies or cupcakes. Students practice "baking" the cookies/cupcakes by sorting them onto the correct cookie sheet. This can be done as a whole group or this can be placed into a center.
There are also 7 printable sheets for students to practice.
I just created 6 Nursery Rhymes posters. These would be a great addition to your Nursery Rhymes unit. Included are: Hickory Dickory Dock, Little Miss Muffet, Humpty Dumpty, Jack Be Nimble, Jack and Jill and Hey Diddle Diddle. To see them in my store just click on the pictures below.
When I taught Kindergarten, my students favorite part of the day (well, besides recess) was stations/centers. They LOVED this time because they got to work independently and the learning was always fun and engaging. I just created 4 different literacy centers that are generic and will fit well into any learning theme. These centers practice digraphs, blends, beginning sounds and middle sounds. There are 36 different cards for each station and 2 recording sheets.
Here is a look at the different centers:
And here is a look at one of the recording sheets.
These centers can be found in my store for 2 dollars and under!
My husband took off work yesterday. We had planned on going to the mountains. But, then after we saw that it was going to rain all weekend, we decided not to get the baby out. At least my husband had the day off with us though.
Every year he buys me shoes. :) This year he bought me these boots.
I've been wanting some short boots that I can wear to church with a skirt or dress. I had ordered some boots online, but they do not look right with a skirt so I will just save them to wear with jeans.
I plan on doing nothing today, but chilling with my little man.
I have put 30 products in my store on sale for 20 percent off. Happy shopping! :)
I just added 4 graphs to my Thanksgiving~ Print and Go pack. My class last year LOVED to graph, so I created these graphs in which the students color the pictures, graph and then count and write the total at the end. To see this product in my store, just click on the picture below.
During the first few weeks of school I always read "The Kissing Hand" to my class. I've always wanted to create an activity to go along with the story, but I've never had time, until now.
This craft and writing is a great addition to the story or can be used during a nocturnal unit. I have included a writing page with a picture box to go along with the craft so that students can respond to the story or record a fact they learned about raccoons.

It's the first Wednesday of November, so that means it is time for Winner Wednesday with A Dab of Glue Will Do. This linky is the first Wednesday of every month. There are so many great products that you could win!
Since this is the month of Thanksgiving I am giving away a brand new Thanksgiving Center that I made.
This center contains 8 placemats (or word families). Each placemat has the name of a word family on the plate, such as "at" and then a number under the plate that lets students know how many rhyming pictures, or foods, should go on each plate.
This center is a fun way to practice rhyming. The 8 different word families are: -et, -op, -ug, -ar, -an, -og, -am and -at. There are 30 different picture cards for students to sort.
There are also 4 printables included that have students cut out pictures and paste them onto the correct place setting.
Enter the Rafflecopter for a chance to win. The winner will be announced Thursday morning. If you are interested in purchasing this unit, just click on any of the pictures to be taken to my store.
Thank you for stopping by to check out my Winner Wednesday. Head over to A Dab of Glue Will Do to link up or enter for a chance to win some great resources.
On Sunday, our lesson was about Moses Parting the Red Sea. I created this craft to go along with our lesson. It is free in my TPT store. If you would like to use this, just click on the picture below to be taken to my store. Thanks so much!
