I am hopping on really fast to offer you these free labels. I am going to print these onto white card-stock in color, cut them out, laminate and then attach to two different buckets. One of the buckets will hold freshly sharpened pencils and the other bucket will be where students can dump their pencils that need to be sharpened. I love using this little classroom management tool because I don't have to worry about sharpening pencils all day. Students know they can turn in their dull pencil, grab a sharp one, and continue with their work. I sharpen the dull bucket of pencils at the end of the day and then return them to the sharp pencils bucket so that they will be ready for the next day. I went to Hobby Lobby and bought black canvases and a skinny paint pen. They were out of white paint pens so I bought a silver. Here is a look at my first two projects.
The third one is my favorite because if you look closely at the first two, the paint pen splattered. For the 3rd canvas, I went to Walmart and purchased thicker pens and they did not splatter at all. The pens at Walmart are cheaper also. The Walmart that I shopped at sold white canvases, but they did not have black.
That's my Monday Made It. Be sure to check out 4th Grade Frolics to see what other people are making!
Just click on the picture to go to the download. Please don't forget to leave positive feedback! :) Students practice learning to read and write the word red by coloring pictures of things that are red, coloring the word, tracing the word, and then circling or highlighting the word. I hope you enjoy this freebie!
On Monday, I had my yearly eye appointment. After I was finished at the eye doctor, I decided to run into Marshalls since it is nearby. I also went into Belk.
Here is what I found:
I bought these shoes at Marshalls. I normally wear a size 10... I have a really long foot, but they only had an 8 1/2. The 8 1/2 actually fit! :)
After stopping by Marshalls, I ran into Belk and picked up the Jessica Simpson earrings that I have been eyeing forever.
And then I came home and ordered a pair of Jessica Simpson heels. I don't know how they will work because I haven't tried them on, but I thought they were cute online so we will see. I hope they fit! I really need black heels!
