Here is a quick look at some of our Valentine's Day fun. Our awesome volunteer, DJ, wrapped shoe boxes for us and then we decorated them with Valentine's Day cutouts.
I should have taken pictures from our party and Valentine's Day card exchange, but it was busy and I forgot!
But here are a few pictures from our Guidance Lesson. Mrs. J. talked to the kids about saying nice things to each other. The kids took turns practicing saying something nice to one another and then giving out a heart.
A few of the kids tasted lemon juice which represented the "not-so-nice" words.
As you can see, they did not like it! :)
Then the girls, tried sugar which represented the nice words.
The nice words were much better!
The girls even wanted more!
